An old house in Panketal & a new beginning

An old house in Panketal, long inhabited by the Müller family, seemed unlikely to find a buyer. But thanks to the renovation planning by immo werk.BERLIN, the dilapidated property was transformed into a dream home for the Werner family – and a new chapter began.

Between Berlin-Buch and the leafy streets of Panketal stood the Müller family's house. Mrs. Müller (80) and her husband (85) had lived there for over 50 years. But the building had become dilapidated: damp walls, an old roof, drafty windows. The upkeep had become too much for them, and finding a buyer seemed difficult.

Panketal is a popular place to live, but those looking for a home here usually want to be able to move in immediately – or at least have a clear idea of what's possible. That's precisely where immo werk.BERLIN came in. Instead of simply putting the house on the market, the team developed a detailed renovation plan. New floor plans, modern room layouts, and a clear vision suddenly transformed the old property into a tangible future.

When the Werner family from Prenzlauer Berg saw the documents, the decision was quickly made. With two children, their old apartment had long since become too small. The dream of their own garden, good transport links to Berlin, and a concrete renovation plan immediately convinced them.
